Minerva Panoramic Sea View

We had a fantastic stay here and would 100% stay again. The apartment is on the 10th floor with a lift, so the views are excellent. We stayed as 2 adults and 2 young children. The apartment has one double bed and two single beds. It is quite small, but it was perfect for us as we were out exploring all day and only really used it for sleeping. It was very clean, comfortable and, although basic, had everything we needed. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches such as toiletries, milk and bottled water in the fridge on arrival. The air conditioning was fantastic and kept the apartment lovely and cool, which was especially appreciated during the hot weather. The shared pool area is great for families. There are two small pools which were perfect for our children – one is a very shallow baby pool and the other is slightly deeper but still suitable for young kids. The larger pools with the slides are much deeper (around 2–3 metres), although the slides were closed during our stay. There is a poolside bar serving food and drinks, and sun loungers can be rented for €4 per day. We did notice people queuing from around 8am before the pool opened at 10am to secure their preferred spot, but we never joined the queue and still managed to get sun loungers every day. The location is exceptional and is the biggest selling point. We hired a car but parked it on the street for free when we arrived and didn't need to use it again for the rest of the week. Free parking is available, although it can take a little while to find a space. Bonanza Square is directly opposite with plenty of bars, restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets. There are also pharmacies, gift shops and bazaars nearby, and within a short walk you'll find even more places to eat, drink and shop. We honestly couldn't think of anything that wasn't within walking distance. The beach is around a 10-minute walk away. The return walk is uphill, so we got a taxi back for around €6.
