There are airports in Zadar and Split. Moorings and modern facilities are available in the marina "Hramina" and in the marina Betina. Due to its proximity to the Kornati National Park, Murter is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Kornati islands. The peninsula is a protected monument (Roman remains).
