About this vacation rental

"L'Etable d'Emile" (Stall von Emile)

The converted and renovated barn is part of an 18th century farmhouse, set in peaceful countryside on a large plot of land approx. 10 min. from a nature reserve (Marias Vernier) and not far from Pont Audemer, 20 min. from Honfleur. The house has a terrace with sun loungers, parasol, barbecue and garden furniture, as well as a private, enclosed garden of 300 m². From here, there are lovely views over the surrounding countryside. Guests can park their cars in a private space. The house, dating from 1789, is approximately 80 m² in size and can accommodate four people on two levels. It was tastefully renovated in 2015, combining authentic decoration with modern, contemporary features and lots of wood. On the ground floor there is the living room with leather sofa and TV with digital television, as well as the kitchen with views of the forest and the bathroom with shower and WC. The kitchen is fully equipped with a two-ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle and coffee machine. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. The first has a 180 x 200 cm double bed, while the second has two 90 x 200 cm single beds. All rooms have heating, and wireless internet is also available. The historic holiday home is located directly in the 'Marais Vernier' nature reserve, a place of exceptional beauty that transports you into nature, which can be explored on foot, by bike or on horseback. There is also an ornithological reserve for migratory birds. Culture lovers will be delighted to visit the beautiful towns of Honfleur (about 45 minutes away), Caen and the D-Day beaches, La Havre (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and Rouen.
