Just 2.5 kilometres away is the peninsula of Lanterna with its many beautiful beaches. Tar-Vabriga is also an excellent starting point for exploring Istria. The coastal towns of Porec and Novigrad can be reached within 10 minutes by car. The Istrian hinterland with the artists' town of Groznjan or the historic mountain village of Motovun can also be reached quickly.
