The village is located at an altitude of 740 metres above sea level, but is surrounded by peaks of considerable height (over 1300 metres above sea level) that make it known for its natural beauty and for being an ideal starting point for excursions and outdoor activities, such as trekking, cycling and alpine skiing in the winter months. In terms of food and wine, too, there are plenty of quality opportunities for lovers of good food. In fact, here it is possible to taste traditional Piedmontese dishes, such as cheeses and cold cuts typical of the area and polenta.
