Another site of interest is the rock sanctuary of Santa Lucia built inside a cave that offers a beautiful panorama of the Toirano valley. In the village of Barescione, the Oratory of Saints Peter and Rocco preserves a valuable statue of San Rocco. For lovers of medieval architecture, the Abbey of San Pietro in Varatella is a must-see, preserving Romanesque frescoes and arches.
