The comfortable and fully equipped holiday home is situated in the eastern Lüneburg Heath in a quiet location on the edge of the forest. The Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve and the Lüneburg Elbe floodplain are in the immediate vicinity. Only about 2,500 metres from the Elbe and the centre of the historic half-timbered town of Bleckede, but safe from flooding about 20 metres above the Elbe, on a cul-de-sac. Excursions are possible to the Hanseatic and university town of Lüneburg and the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park. The solidly built holiday home has gas central heating and therefore ensures a pleasant stay on cooler days. The accommodation is perfect for two people. Additional occupancy (4 people) is possible. The house is accessible almost at ground level, only a small, flat step leads into the porch and then into the hallway. All rooms are accessible from the hallway, including the bedroom, which can be fully darkened and has a large double bed, shelves and lighting and a large wardrobe. The large feel-good living room with sofa bed (two additional beds), dining area, massage chair, radio, satellite TV, flat screen and living room cupboard invite you to linger. A bathroom with shower, washbasin (lowered for the disabled), mirror cabinet and WC is also available. An outside window with insect screen ensures carefree ventilation. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, the landlords have bath towels, hand towels and bathrobes ready for you. The fully equipped kitchen is fully stocked with all important kitchen utensils and leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to a dishwasher, there is also a fridge with a small freezer, a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, electric hob with oven, plenty of pots, pans and crockery and much more. There is also a seating area in the kitchen. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in a room off the kitchen. The house has a free landline telephone connection and WLAN can be activated on request. You can reach the large, partially covered and wind-protected sun terrace through the living room. The door has an insect screen. Start your day on the terrace with a delicious homemade breakfast in the open air or round off eventful days with a cosy barbecue. Thanks to the partial roofing, you will find a dry spot here even in rainy weather. There are two seating areas, a swing and loungers. A car parking space is available directly in front of the holiday home. There is also a shared sunbathing lawn, garden pond and other amenities to make you feel at home. In the large garden there is a landscaped pond and an artificial watercourse. You can make interesting observations there. Games such as badminton can be played in the street, as there is almost no car traffic in the cul-de-sac. Of course, the lawn is ideal for sunbathing. Two bicycles are available for holiday guests. This gives you the opportunity to use the two bicycles in the holiday home for short trips, for example to eat at the Bleckeder Brauhaus or for a delicious ice cream in the ice cream parlour in the town centre. Dogs must not be left alone in the holiday home and must be kept on a lead on the property. This is also a precaution because a lawn robot is on duty at different times. A baby cot is available for children up to the age of two. You can take over the holiday home at 16:00. On the day of departure, the accommodation is at your disposal until 10 am, unless you agree otherwise and occupancy permits. The holiday home is located right on the edge of the forest, so you can go for lovely walks in the woods directly from your accommodation. Or cycle to the Elbe, to the town centre or through the beautiful landscape of the eastern Lüneburg Heath, through the Lüneburg Elbe floodplain. There is a regular express bus service from Bleckede to Lüneburg town centre or the railway station at low HVV fares. Bleckede itself offers good restaurants and cafés. There are excellent shopping facilities. Doctors and pharmacies, which hopefully won't be needed, are also available in the town centre. In Bleckede, why not visit the biosphere reserve in the Elbe castle with its tourist information centre, the Elbe aquarium, the outdoor beaver enclosure or a viewing tower with a wonderful panoramic view over the Elbe and the Elbe floodplain on the old castle tower. Excursion destinations such as the Wendland with its roundels and the spa town of Bad Bevensen, the historic university and Hanseatic town of Lüneburg, the Heidepark and Hamburg are all within easy reach. Day trips by car to Wendland, the Lüneburg Heath, Hamburg, the Heidepark or the beautiful Hanseatic city of Lüneburg, with its unique cityscape, museums and sights, are also ideal when the weather is not so good. In addition, the spa town of Bad Bevensen with its marvellous spa gardens is not far away, so that you can make the most of the spa facilities, spa concerts, etc. The Göhrde state forest, known as " die Göhrde", the largest contiguous mixed forest in northern Germany, is nearby. It is definitely worth a visit. The Elbe is also an excellent area for fishing, including guided fishing trips. During Advent and Christmas, Lüneburg's Christmas market is no longer an insider tip. One of the most beautiful Christmas markets in northern Germany invites you to really get into the pre-Christmas spirit. The holiday home also offers peace and contemplation.
