Location was perfect. This place is 100% automated. Never saw the owner or any staff. Used pin# for front door and room door. Plenty of parking. Shower was good, beds were firm, but not hard.
Price! Was the room worth $200 a night, no, but we didn't want to be on the road any longer, so we paid it. For $200 a night, I expect breakfast!

The room was spacious, clean while retaining the feel of the period in which the hotel was built
No staff. You must have an entry code to enter the lobby and another one for room access. Wifi spotty for streaming and high tech vending machine in the lobby didn't work - at least for me. Hamlet of Tomales is very small and nothing is open in the evenings so it's a good idea to stock up at the amazing general store across the street before headed to Dillon Beach to view sunset
