FABEL Apartments am Hbf

Really gorgeous apartment with a very stylish interior. Very comfortable and cool despite the heat outside! Staff was very responsive and lovely. Great restaurants and shops nearby. We felt safe wandering around at night with our two teenage children.

It was hard to access the apartment - you need to lift the FABEL sign up to find the key box! Girl we spoke to on the phone was a great help but we could’ve maybe found it ourselves if we knew where to look. The area felt a little bit dodgy with all of the graffiti but we soon realised this is commonplace in Berlin! One thing that was a bit disappointing was the communal bin area directly outside the apartment - lots of rubbish had just been dumped and lay there the whole time we were there. Also, we had to close the window in the morning to stop the smell of smoke and marijuana entering our room. Again, not the fault of FABEL, but still a bit unpleasant. There is is a lot of cigarette smoking in Berlin!

Die Lage war ganz okay, nur eben nicht am HBF. Man musste erstmal fünf Stationen mit der Straßenbahn nach Moabit fahren und im Anschluss noch ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß gehen.

Die Unterkunft hat mich an ein Ladengeschäft mit Schaufenster erinnert, das zu einem Apartment umgebaut wurde. Damit vorbeigehende Passanten nicht in das Apartment reinschauen können, hat man das Schaufenster verspiegelt. Für das Schlafzimmer hat man einfach eine Zwischendecke über dem Wohnraum eingezogen. Der Schlafraum hatte gefühlt eine Deckenhöhe von knapp einem Meter. Das Bett konnte man deshalb nur auf allen Vieren erreichen.

The apartment was very comfortable and had lots of little extras. Fabel Apartments followed up to ensure we had settled into the apartment and surprised us with a lovely bottle of wine. There is a professionally printed booklet providing information about the apartment and surrounding area including how to get to the many attractions of Berlin. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance of the apartment.

Sehr Sauber und im kleinsten Detail durchdacht. Regenschirm lag bereit, Flasche Wein, Haartrockner mit Lockenaufsatz, Kerze und Deko abgestimmt. Better sehr bequem, Nachbarschaft ruhig
