A Place To Stay Stavanger, apt 6

The location is perfect. In a very quiet neighbourhood and is a close walk to old Stavanger, the waterfront and a mall with a great supermarket. Has a very nice welcoming rustic decor and a nice spacious bathroom with lots of space to put toiletries etc. The bed was comfortable, towels were nice and thick, and it was nice to have a washing machine.The host was very responsive and in a timely manner. It was nice to see emergency preparedness items obvious and easily accessible- fire extinguisher, emergency fire blanket and a foldable ladder if needed to escape in the event of a fire.

As others have mentioned, it’s quite a challenge carrying suitcases up the extremely narrow winding staircase to the top floor - especially when there is no landing at the top to set luggage down while we were accessing the lockbox and unlocking the door. The ceiling is very low at the top of the stairs - definitely not made for tall people! Although the listing is quite clear that it’s an attic and has sloped ceilings, I was not prepared for how low those ceilings are for much of the space. The kitchen is extremely small and we felt like we were always having to watch our heads every time we stood up from reaching down to get something in the kitchen. Similarly goes for the low ceiling above the bed - where on one side of the bed is a hook screwed into the beam right above the bed which someone could easily hit their head on if not careful. Wasn’t too confident on the lock that’s used on the door to the apartment. It’s not actually a door knob lock, but rather a lock that’s simply attached to the outside of the door, and doesn’t seem much more secure than a padlock. In fact, it can be locked from the outside without a key by a mere turn of the lock itself. A bit concerning that in essence, we could be locked in if someone were to turn the lock from the outside…

Sehr gemütliches, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Dach-Apartment. Zentrale Lage und sehr ruhig. Parkmöglichkeiten auf der Straße vorhanden.

Das schwere Gepäck über die enge Treppe ins Dachgeschoss zu tragen war herausfordernd.

Good location to old town and harbour. Great attic space with all facilities to make yourself at home for a couple of days.

The 2 flights of stairs when you have a heavy luggage!

Jonatan was a great host, very kind and quick in responding to questions. Appartement was overall very nice at a good location to the centre.
