Per the official City of Charleston Short Term Rental ordinance, the property must NOT be occupied by "more than four (4) unrelated people". This does NOT apply to families.
Please Note: The Cypress Suite is a lower-level unit. Guests may hear occasional noise from the upper unit, and there may be steps or shared pathways associated with the building layout.
Guest Access:
Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.
The Neighborhood:
The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough-Elliotborough district of Downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston's classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun and or relaxing vacation. The culinary scene for which Charleston has become so famous is just steps away. The fantastic restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of Upper King Street are close enough to walk.
Getting Around:
You can walk anywhere and everywhere in Charleston, but just in case, here is a list of the top transportation services: The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website. As much as we love furry companions, pets are not allowed at this property. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If a pet and/or pet evidence is found at the home we reserve the right to charge a $150/pet fee.
🚫 This is a 100% smoke-free property.
Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. A fine will be charged ($300) for any in-room smoke evidence. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 10 feet away from the building outdoors.
🧳 Luggage Drop-Off:
We are pleased to offer our guests convenient luggage storage through our partnership with Charleston Bag Valet, a trusted local provider. This service allows you to securely drop off your luggage before check-in or after check-out, so you can explore and enjoy your time in Charleston without the inconvenience of carrying your bags. Please note that additional fees apply for this service.

Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood just steps from King Street’s dining and nightlife. While that energy is part of the experience, city noise may be heard. Please be advised that:
⭐️ A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
⭐️ Guests must be respectful of neighbors during these hours.
⭐️ We do not offer refunds for noise-related issues that are to be expected of the location.
⭐️ By booking, you acknowledge and accept this city setting and the potential for ambient noise.
🧑🔧 To help us ensure a great stay, guests must allow us the chance to address any issues during their visit.
Refunds will not be issued for concerns reported after checkout or when resolution efforts are declined.
🏠 We do not control neighboring properties and cannot offer refunds due to dissatisfaction with external factors.
🔌 We do not provide refunds for utility outages or service interruptions that are outside of our control.
❄️ Charleston homes are built for a subtropical climate, and since many are older, severe cold snaps may affect both water temperature and indoor heating.

Fun spot for along weekend in downtown Charleston. Property does back up to a bar which can be loud at night. Noise machines provided helped block the sound.

Location was great. Close to shops, sights and restaurants. I would suggest having kitchen dish towels to clean up. Also some security lights in the parking area for night arrivals. Loved everything else. Thanks

This location is great, conveniently close to popular bars and restaurants. However, be aware that noise from outdoor patios and trash collection can be quite loud in the early morning hours especially on weekends.

While the attraction for us was the proximity to the center of town, we were not aware that the 2 back bedrooms were literally attached to a large and boisterous outside bar. The worst part was the periodic trashing of bottles by the staff right outside our bedroom window after 1am or before 7am. We appreciate that the host did offer a partial refund and would ask that they ensure guests are aware of this issue before booking.
