This home is a short stroll from the heart of Oceanside, where you'll find several dining options and an access point to the beach. You'll also be just two miles north of Netarts and the beach at Happy Camp (where you can do a bit of crabbing right from the shore), and three miles south of the scenic Cape Meares Lighthouse. Tillamook is only nine miles inland, offering shopping, dining, and the famous Tillamook Creamery.

The home was nestled into a hillside, within just a few minutes walk down to the beach. It is a steep incline to get up and down, so it's good to be mindful when booking here. There are a couple of cafes also along the same short walk, which were cute and served yummy food and coffee. Be mindful of parking here, as well. Its tight for everyone living on this little hillside, and even more tight for two full-sized trucks, including a dually pickup. It was just enough space for us to park snuggly against the hillside, right in front of the property and it didn't pose any issue to vehicles continuing down the hill. The views of the ocean and beach were absolutely beautiful from the main floor, deck and upstairs bedroom. It was quite comfortable and homed our party of 4 adults and two infants very well. The only complaint I have is with the kitchen pans and knives. Most of the pans were not usable due to the non-stick coating being all scratched up and flaking off, which poses a health risk. Also, we were not able to locate steak knives and the chef's knives were extremely dull and hazardous to use. Overall, we would absolutely love to return, when the weather isn't so gloomy, in order to enjoy the area more.

The fireplace, which we rented the property for, was non-working.The movie set-up for the downstairs was inoperable (no hdmi cord).The first bed upon entering, to the left, had dirty sheets on it.
