About this house rental
The Alte Meierei in Tetenbüll on the North Sea combines historic charm with modern comfort and offers space for up to ten overnight guests in its spacious 242 m². Built in 1902 and extensively renovated in 2023, the building is idyllically situated in a rural setting in the village of Tetenbüll on the Eiderstedt Peninsula and is particularly well-suited for families, groups, and travelers staying together. The fully fenced property, spanning 1,300 m², offers plenty of space to relax in nature and a safe retreat—especially appreciated by families with children and pet owners, as pets are expressly welcome.
Inside the Alte Meierei, a total of six rooms await you, including four separate bedrooms, each equipped with comfortable sleeping arrangements.
Bedroom 1: large double bed 200x180 cm
Bedroom 2: large double bed 200x180 cm
Bedroom 3: large double bed 200x180 cm, small double bed 200x140 cm
Bedroom 4: large double bed 200x160 cm
A baby bed is also available, making the accommodation suitable for trips with toddlers and babies. Two bathrooms ensure comfort for larger groups. A separate guest restroom is also available.
The bright, open-concept living area features a cozy sofa nook and a wood-burning stove. Here, you can relax after a day in nature or spend evenings together. Four digital TVs, a radio, and a CD player provide entertainment and comfort. A desk is also available if you need a quiet place to work or plan.
Of particular note is the fully equipped kitchen, which leaves nothing to be desired: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with separate freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, blender, a full set of dishes and silverware, kitchen utensils, dish towels, and trash cans are all provided.
An integrated dining area in the kitchen provides space for shared meals.
Outside, the covered patio with an awning and patio furniture invites you to relax outdoors; and a private beach chair offers additional comfort. The spacious and well-maintained garden with scenic views is ideal for relaxation and for children to play. The large property guarantees privacy. There is plenty of space for barbecues or sunbathing.
In addition to the oil-fired heating system, underfloor heating in the bathrooms and kitchen ensures comfort; making the Alte Meierei comfortable to live in year-round. The property is strictly non-smoking.
Five free private parking spaces provide ample room for all guests’ vehicles. Traveling by car is recommended, as the location is rural, secluded, and quiet. The sandy beach is about 15 kilometers away in Sankt Peter-Ording, and the nearest restaurant or store is approximately five to ten kilometers away. A train station is located about three kilometers away.
For families, the Alte Meierei offers ideal conditions thanks to its baby crib, child-friendly environment, and enclosed garden on the property. We also welcome youth groups. The historic atmosphere and unique character of the Alte Meierei make every stay a special experience.
Book your stay at the Alte Meierei and enjoy relaxing days in a one-of-a-kind setting.
