Our freshly-renovated 4 BR, 2 BA home combines comfort, style, and outdoor fun. Step inside to an open, airy floor plan where a newly renovated kitchen sets the tone. Butcherblock countertops, custom cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances, and a contemporary tile backsplash create a chef-ready culinary hub — ideal for preparing anything from a quick breakfast to a full dinner after a day of activities. Off the kitchen, the dining area flows into a cozy living space where guests can unwind — perfect for movie nights or relaxing with a book. Downstairs, you’ll also find a large four-car garage, offering plenty of space for vehicles, gear, or storage. Enjoy a primary suite with a luxurious, newly remodeled bathroom featuring a massive shower and a double-sink vanity. Three additional well-appointed bedrooms share a full guest bathroom with a bathtub — great for families or groups traveling together. Outside, soak away the day in our private hot tub — ideal for chilly Michigan evenings or post-snow day relaxation. The kitchen, dining area, living room, and our deck are all located on the main level. Three bedrooms and a full bathroom are located on the 2nd story (up a flight of stairs) and our primary suite (bedroom + bathroom) along with our laundry room are located in the basement down a full flight of stairs.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:



We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.



We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.



Parking

Our driveway fits up to four cars (in two tandem columns) plus four cars fit in our garage.



Entry

The home is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock on the front door. To enter, type the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.



When leaving, type that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.



Our Availability

We are available whenever you need! Please feel free to reach out via the app or website you booked on with any specific questions. For any health emergencies, please dial 911. If a system malfunctions (i.e., hot water not functioning or a light has gone out), please send us a message on the app or website you booked on and we will be sure to address it in as short a time as possible (we usually respond within a few minutes). We also have handymen, electricians, plumbers, and landscapers with whom we work, so for any extenuating circumstances, we will happily bring them out to solve your issues post haste!



Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Pullout Couch: To change the pullout couch into a bed, pull the sliding section underneath the couch out and once completely extended, lift the couch cushions up so they unfold onto the extended section. You’re all set!

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.



Extra Linens: In one of the bedroom closets you will find extra bath towels, hand towels, pillows, and sheets for the air mattress and pullout couch.



House Rules

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:



- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.

- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.

- Please leave your shoes at the door.

- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.

- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.

- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.

- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.



Getting Around

The house is perfectly located for walking or a quick drive to downtown Clarkston. Roughly a 20-minute drive to Rochester Hills, a 1-hour drive to Ann Arbor, and a 45-minute drive to the Woodward Corridor.
