This rustic 1 bedroom, 1 bath barn apartment blends country charm with modern comfort. Tucked away on a quiet street, it's the perfect Mount Dora retreat for those who crave simplicity with a touch of Old Florida. Enjoy easy access to local shops and dining, with the excitement of Orlando just minutes away. Shop local by day, hit the city by night - all from one perfect spot! Whether you're unwinding after a day of adventure or savoring the stillness of home, the Hayloft Hideaway offers a welcoming space with a home town heart. The apartment is designed with an open concept living space and feels airy and welcoming. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, toaster, crock pot, electric stove top, oven, refrigerator/freezer and Keurig coffee maker. The spacious bedroom is centered around a king-sized 4 poster bed, with two windows that allow natural light to pour in, brightening the room. A ceiling fan overhead adds gentle circulation, keeping the space cool and comfortable year-round. Designed with everyday living in mind, the bathroom includes a versatile shower/tub combination, along with a generous closet keeping the space organized and clutter-free. The full sized washer and dryer add efficiency, blending utility with comfort. Laundry cleaning products are provided. Easy parking located just outside the door with 2 dedicated spots for easy access. Situated on the second floor, the apartment is easily accessible with only twelve steps leading up from the entrance, offering a bit of extra privacy and quiet. The location is perfect, within 10 minutes to downtown Mount Dora's shopping and dining, and Fiddler Road dining options, 7 minutes to Renningers Antique and Farmers Market, and less than 45 minutes to Universal Orlando, Walt Disney World, Disney Springs, Sea World and the International Drive Outlet Mall.

This is absolutely one of the nicest VRBO rentals in which we have ever stayed!! The Barn is so unique and fun! Mary Ella and Jim, the hosts, were quick to respond to any questions we asked, and when we had the opportunity to meet them in person, we found them to be just delightful. The Barn is very well-equipped with everything we could possible have needed. The kitchen is well-appointed with lots of dishes, pots, and small appliances. There are plenty of plush linens and lots of good lighting including ample night lights. My husband was particularly happy to find very comfortable recliner chairs at each end of the sofa unit. The property itself is well-maintained with lots of flowers near the barn doors, landscape lighting, and there is even a little creek at the bottom of the hill. There is also a nice picnic table and a fire pit with chairs close by in the back yard. The Barn is just a short drive to many restaurants, grocery stores, and downtown Mt. Dora which is a quaint and charming little town with shopping and restaurants. It should be noted that this rental is upstairs, and while there is a sturdy stair hand rail and plenty of lighting for going up and down, the stairs are a little steeper than usual and take a 90-degree turn halfway up. We so enjoyed our stay in the barn and are looking forward to returning next year. Thank you, Mary Ella and Jim, for sharing your barn with us!

Mary Ella and Jim have done a phenomenal job with this property. They are both very welcoming hosts, and were by far our favorite property we have ever stayed at.Arrived to a spotless stay, with the fridge stocked with drinks, food in the cupboard, and snacks in a basket on the counter (had booked for over a month). Great people, awesome property, and by far our most treasured find
