Charming Andalusian villa near Córdoba, with private pool and olive groves.

Located 50 kilometers from Córdoba, our farmhouse is situated in the Los Pedroches region. We have organic olive groves and pasturelands, produce milk, and make the exquisite Pata Negra ham with the “Los Pedroches” Designation of Origin. Los Pedroches boasts a small historical heritage (notably the 15th-century Castillo de los Sotomayor) in Belalcázar, about 100 kilometers from Córdoba, in the direction of Extremadura.
The farmhouse features a pleasant swimming pool, and hiking is also available. The area is one of the few remaining in Andalusia that is still off the beaten path.
The house has a pleasant atmosphere and combines its elements very well. An interesting option for a stay surrounded by nature and close to Córdoba.

Andalusia: Our house is near Córdoba, with the Mosque, Medina Azahara, and the Reales Alcázares as its main landmarks. If you’re visiting in May, you can also see the processions, the Patios, and the Córdoba Fair.
You can also visit Seville and Granada, home to the Alhambra.
From our farmhouse, you can also visit Úbeda and Baeza; both cities are World Heritage Sites, as they are the jewels of the Andalusian Renaissance.

Our region: Our region is attractive for countless reasons. We have the Cardeña-Montoro Natural Park, which is the largest Iberian lynx reserve in Spain. Our 17 villages are unique in that, as they lie on the border with La Mancha and Extremadura, they combine characteristics of all three regions.
We also boast exquisite cuisine centered on Iberian pork, with our hams carrying a Designation of Origin; we also have excellent veal and lamb, as well as fine cheeses and organic olive oil extracted from the olive groves in the mountains.
Our natural landscape is exceptionally beautiful, featuring diverse habitats such as the dehesa and steppe-like areas where cranes feed in the winter. There are also areas of pure Mediterranean forest very close to our farmhouse.

The mountains and our surroundings: We are in Sierra Morena; the Sierra de Los Pedroches boasts 10,000 hectares of organic olive groves. The fact that our mountain range has so many olive groves demonstrates that the mountain dwellers did a great job planting so many olive trees; today, most of these olive groves are organic farms, due to the low profitability of these olive trees.
Due to the steep slopes, it was impossible to plant anything in some areas; thus, the Mediterranean forest remains in its pristine state in these areas. These areas can be visited via the Peña Águila trail, which once connected the towns of Obejo and Pozoblanco. Today, it is a beautiful walking path where, in addition to enjoying wonderful panoramic views, you can still see trenches from the Civil War.
