Summary:

Luxury accommodation up to 53 people: the entire estate.

The accommodation consists of 2 adjacent vacation homes (Peerdermolen en Watermolen 5*), 6 adjacent duplex suites of which one deluxe room.

There are a total of 16 comfortable rooms, each with a private bathroom for added privacy and comfort.

There are 5 double beds, 33 single beds, 1 sofa bed (1m60) and 4 sofa beds (1m40) available.

To enjoy each other's company, you can use the Molenhuys, among other facilities: an authentic mill building with a self-service bar, an (optional) professionally equipped kitchen, and an entertainment room on the upper floor with a ping-pong table, pool table, pinball machine, air hockey, dartboard, and more. Molenhuys overlooks the interior of the water mill.

Time for coffee!

In the kitchens you will find a Nespresso-, Senseo- and filter coffee machine. Don't forget to bring your own cups, pads or ground coffee.

1st floor: bedroom (2p.).



Deluxe room 5

Ground floor: bedroom (2p.) with TV, bathroom with toilet, terrace.



Duplex group suite 6

Ground floor: sitting area with TV, bathroom with toilet, terrace.

1st floor: bedroom (6p).



Molenhuys

Entertainment area for up to 53 people with a fully equipped bar with tap system (you can order kegs from us), professionally equipped kitchen available to book (€145), ping-pong table, kicker table, pool table, pinball machine, dartboard, air hockey, card games, etc.

Outside you can enjoy the private garden and private covered terrace with outdoor table and chairs, a BBQ, a playground with bouncy cushion for children and a pond (forbidden to fish).

Guest Access:

De Hoogmolen uses a self-hosting concept. No physical reception and no wasted time with paperwork. Before arrival, guests receive an online check-in form and a personal access code for the main entrance. Need help? Then of course we are always available.

Do you really have issues regarding your stay? No worries! We will come directly to De Hoogmolen to help you out.

Everything within the vacation homes, gardens, terraces and duplexsuites are for your private use.



The Neighborhood:

The surroundings of De Hoogmolen exude an atmosphere of tranquility, nature and history. Located on the picturesque Abeek Valley, surrounded by green forests and the gurgling sound of water flowing past the mill.

De Hoogmolen itself is a charming water mill that has its origins in the Middle Ages.



The accommodations are furnished with care. A refined combination of natural materials and warm colors create a harmonious atmosphere.



The presence of cycling nodes, walking nodes and an equestrian and riding route network running through the property offer various opportunities to explore the area. Rider and horse are more than welcome; horses can stay (subject to reservation and additional cost) in a spacious meadow with stables on the domain while the rider can stay in the house.



For children, there is a nice outdoor playground where they can have fun. There is also a nice fishing pond for hobby fishermen.



Besides hiking, biking and horseback riding, you can also ski/snowboard in the nearby indoor ski slope, swim in the neighboring subtropical swimming pool, seek challenge at racelandkart, visit local breweries, explore surrounding natural areas ...



An enchanting mix of history and nature in the middle of Belgian Limburg makes this place ideal for peace seekers, nature lovers & sports enthusiasts.



Other Things to Note:

All beds are always made up with fresh bed linen and 2 towels per person are provided, as well as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and body lotion.

In each kitchen, you will find a household kit containing: 3 tea towels, 2 dishcloths, 1 sponge, 1 steel wool pad, 1 roll of baking paper, garbage bags, a few dishwasher tablets, dish soap, all-purpose cleaner spray, mop and all-purpose cleaner.

Kitchen roll is not provided as standard.

For your comfort upon arrival, 2 rolls of toilet paper per toilet are provided.

If you would like more of these items, please feel free to bring your own.

Dogs are welcome at the right sided vacation home on the ground floor and in the Molenhuys, not at the other vacation home or at the duplexsuites.

This permission applies also to the following vacation homes: Watermolen, Watermolen Plus, Volmolen and Volmolen Plus as the right sided vacation home is part of this.



- Dogs must be kept on a leash on the property.

- Do not leave your dog alone in the property.

- Honden mogen niet in de zetels of stoelen.

- The garden is not fenced, please keep this in mind.

- Please clean up your dog's droppings yourself.

- For the safety of all our guests, we don't receive dogs that are on the list of dangerous breeds.



You can take your dog with you for € 25 per night and only upon reservation.

At De Hoogmolen, you can safely and easily park your bike in our locked bike storage area. You can find the key to the bicycle shed in the house.
