Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. While the usual check-in time is around 3 PM, we were only able to check in at 4 PM because we were told the apartment was still being cleaned and was not yet ready. Despite this, the kitchen, fridge, and shower were still dirty. The oven was not working because it had apparently not been connected, something we were only told upon arrival. We also found a bug under the blanket, as well as food crumbs in the bed, which made us seriously question how thoroughly the apartment had actually been cleaned. To make things worse, on the very first day the host told us that if we were unhappy, they could refund us and we should “simply” find another place to stay. After travelling 700 km, this was hardly the kind of welcome or solution we expected. The accommodation itself has a lot of potential and could be a great choice if the cleanliness and the host’s attitude improved. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I am not confident that this will change anytime soon.
