This peaceful, rural, and private cottage sits along Salt Creek, surrounded by the beauty of Oregon's picturesque farmland. Ideally located, you'll be less than 50 miles from several popular coastal towns and just a short drive from Downtown Dallas, where charming shops and local dining await.

Step inside and feel instantly at ease in the open living area, featuring comfortable seating, a large TV, and a beautiful grand piano. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped and sure to delight the cook in your group, complete with a charming center island perfect for gathering. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the front porch while keeping an eye out for wildlife-early morning deer sightings are common, and wild turkeys occasionally roam the property.
The primary bedroom offers a serene retreat with tasteful décor, generous storage, and a spacious en suite bathroom. Unwind each day in the impressive walk-in shower, which is accessed through the primary bedroom. The second bedroom is equally inviting, styled with a warm color palette and high-quality linens. A convenient powder room is located just beside this bedroom.
Additional amenities include a private washer and dryer and a dedicated workspace for those who need to stay connected. For families traveling with little ones, a high chair and Pack 'n Play are provided.
If your group is larger than four, there is a second listing on the property named The HomeSted Retreat which sleeps 7. Both properties may be booked concurrently, if available, for a total of 11 people.

- Your safety matters. The property features 2 exterior security cameras, including a doorbell camera facing the front entry and a camera on the barn. All cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces, are on and not motion activated, and record video
- The home has central heating but no central air conditioning. The primary bedroom includes a standing AC unit, and additional fans are available for your comfort

We had a great stay in Dallas. Cute cottage that was very well stocked and comfortable. Located on a beautiful, quiet property that has been very well maintained. Does get quite warm in the cottage during the day as there is no A/C but with the windows open it cools down nicely and was always a comfortable temperature once the sun went down!
Host was quick to respond to any questions we had, self check in was easy and instructions were clear.
Would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet cottage in Dallas near lots of beautiful wineries!

This quiet cottage out in an out-of-the way area not far from Dallas, OR, is comfortable and welcoming. The outside looks a little rustic, but the interior is state-of-the art and wonderful. The queen bed in the main room is very comfortable (and I'm a large person), and the master bathroom was amazing - spacious shower with adjustable head. The carpet in the bedrooms and the living room was an unexpected delight for my weary feet. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, easy to navigate. The wild turkeys - there were quite a few throughout the day - and the deer are fascinating to watch. And the TV has Roku. The owners were very communicative and helped with getting into the cottage. One thing to know: Your cell service may not work at the cottage, so make sure you connect to the wi-fi for phone calls and have downloaded all the information you need for check-in before getting there. I definitely recommend this property!

Cute Lil cottage tucked away from the hussle and bussle of daily life, east to find location. Clean, friendly and homey. Like a home away from home.

The location is very rural and pretty, and quiet! It's also quite convenient when we have guests that need to stay somewhere nearby (I live about 10-15 minutes away). Also, the hosts are very responsive and helpful! Would definitely recommend this (and have) to folks visiting the area.
