We enjoyed this lake house. The location was great; a short drive into town for essentials, food and gas but also secluded enough too! We love being on the water and the incline not being so much from the house to dock.

House was great. Beds and furniture very comfortable . All kitchen amenities are there plus a grill. Loved the screened in porch and decor. Perfect house for 5-6 folks. Intestines and kayaks were nice. Only 2 things to be aware of- right by a main road so some light and noise at night. Dock and deck walk full of splinters so just be careful

Thank you for a very enjoyable stay in your beautiful home. We very much enjoyed the house and the lake. We caught 15 catfish and 30 bream. Our kids 13 and 8 had a blast! We all had such a great time that we will be back again soon! I do wish that the dishwasher was working during our stay. Five days of washing dishes on vacation, especially during Thanksgiving was disappointing! Also not being able to use the fireplace was a bit of a letdown. The dock could use a light as well. Other than those couple of issues, I would give this place four stars thank you again and God bless!

Little roaches, not the large flying water bugs. And no, I didn't contact anyone because seriously, what's the point? They sent a message when we checked in asking if everything was clean. I responded that the sheets had not been washed in one of the rooms. I changed them with a set I found in the closet that at least smelled like they had been washed. The comforter in this room was yucky and appeared to have never been washed ever. Coverlets that can be washed are a must in my opinion for rental properties. The enclosed outside eating area had not been cleaned at all. The carpet in this area was littered with various bits of food, mostly roasted peanuts. It appeared that someone may have spat out some chewed peanuts on the table & a chair. They apologized and said they would contact the cleaning crew. I'm not sure what happened, but we never heard a peep. The 2nd night I saw the first roach in the bathroom. The 3rd night I saw one on the kitchen counter. When we were packing up to go I saw another on the kitchen counter. I have no idea how many it takes to say it's a problem for other people, but for me it's one. With a better cleaning crew, pest control, and some new linens this house would be a 10. The Good: The location is great! The house is a perfect blend of spacious and cozy. It's beautiful. Would I rent again? Probably not because I'm freaked out by bugs.
