About this house rental
The large wooded lot at the end of the road offers privacy and excellent bird watching, while not blocking the spectacular views of Lake Murray. The mists over the lake in the morning are just exquisite, and since the house is at the southwestern reaches of the lake, it is very quiet. We highly recommend enjoying coffee on the back patio or dock before heading out on the kayaks.

The large granite kitchen island is the perfect breakfast bar with comfy stools, and the entire kitchen/dining room/living room is one large open floor plan. The main bedroom & main en-suite bath are at one end of the house, separate from the other 3 bedrooms and the bonus lounge (2nd living room area).
Outside, the expansive, fenced backyard provides a safe and fun space for kids and dogs to play, complete with a playset and direct access to the dock. As the sun sets, gather around the custom-built, industrial-style firepit with eight Adirondack chairs, perfect for relaxing evenings spent stargazing or roasting marshmallows.

This is a lovely, large house on the lake with a beautiful view. It was well stocked with everything one would need- plenty of dishes and utensils, towels, pillows, etc. It has a nice patio with grill and a dock on the water. We enjoyed it!

The lake and all of the boats and kayaks made for a fun weekend at Lake Murray. There is a ton of room in the house to spread out and it has all of the amenities: books, games & multiple TVs so no one feels stuck in one spot.
If you a looking for a quiet place to get away, reconnect with nature, drop your fishing pole in the water - then you have found the ideal spot!
