Hotiday Apartments Siracusa

Beautifully renovated apartment in the edge of the fishermen quarter which is excellent for two reasons: next to the daily market that turns restaurant street at night and 4min away from a covered parking area. Easy to get great food, explore Ortigia, and to get to your rental. The apartment is spacious, has good AC, comfortable bed, couldn't ask for much more.

Two slight issues: there's not a lot of light in the bathroom plus the elevator beeps annoyingly while the door is open.

Super location, stunning rooms with high ceilings and big windows. Rooms are huge, well equipped and simply but beautifully decorated.

Entrance a bit hard to find. I arrived after reception was closed and needs a bit more signage to locate the cide box. Everything else was super... A really great last minute find.

Beautiful roof terrace, very spacious apartment with everything you need. Location is perfect.

The reception was very unfriendly. We asked about the jacuzzi and they said it was not possible to use it during this season. However, this was not mentioned anywhere on the description and they didn't offer any compensation. For us, this was the main attraction of the property and we were very sad about it. Further, we only received one key card to get into the room, but this card was linked to the electricity in the apartment. This meant that the washing machine didn't work when we weren't in the apartment and electronic devices couldn't charge. It was also really complicated when one of us wanted to go outside alone and the other one wanted to stay inside without being able to use lights etc. On one of our days we woke up with very loud construction noise coming from the roof of the building. Generally, there were a lot of noises at night coming from electricity etc. We were asked to pay the tourist tax via a link on Whatsapp and when we hadn't done so by day 2, they threatened to inform the police. However, the tourist tax only has to be paid by the end of the stay which was 5 days.
