We were having insurance repairs done on our home and needed a place to stay for a couple weeks. This property was perfect and the owner was very responsive. She made sure we had what we needed (and wanted) to make this property feel like home while we were displaced. The kids loved the upstairs and the porches on the back were fantastic.

I was in Lynchburg for a work trip and decided to stay at Chalet at Dream Creek. The Chalet was comfortable and cozy, especially with the snow that had fallen during our stay. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. It’s also a quick drive to downtown. The host was responsive and very helpful. I would stay here again!

We wnjoyed this neat home during our stay for a long family weekend while one of the kids was competing at Liberty. Home was as advertised and clean. It also included the furnishings that help make the stay lire enjoyable and feel more like a home away from home. Loved the decks and trees and my wife and I and all the kids enjoyed the loft look and feel.

This property is in a great location in Lynchburg. I'm sure our experience was a one off, but it wasn't the best VRBO experience. The property was nice with a tree house feel as listed with a large deck and two individual decks off the upstairs bedrooms. It was adequately supplied with towels, linens, etc. However, it wasn't clean. There were coffee grounds left in the coffee pot and they molded and the coffee pot in general was nasty. There was leftover hair in the shower and the floors seemed a little dirty. The kitchen sink had remnants of something all over it. Although the decks were in a wooded area under the trees. They were covered in small limbs and didn't look they had been cleaned off. It was pollen season so the chairs were covered. Being a tree house feel and setting, there were plenty of bugs (as described in the booklet when we arrived). A property manager contacted us and very kindly offered to send someone to take care of the unclean areas but by then we had already done some cleaning. Again, this seemed to be an isolated incident, but when you pay the amount you pay for one of these, you expect things to be clean and ready. Just seemed like the cleaning crew didn't clean...but I'm sure we were charged for it in our rental. Lastly, if you like to sit in bed or on the couch and read...there are no lamps. There is not one lamp in this house...on the night stands, tables, etc... Lights full on or full off. No soft lighting.
