Lovely building. Comfy sofa’s - although not really enough room for 7/8 people in either lounge areas. Beds clean & comfy.

The house was cold on arrival, I had to get a fire going immediately (the heating couldn’t have been put on before our arrival?) The large fridge had just ONE shelf! We had to stack our food on top of itself! Whilst the freezer worked the fridge did not - it wasn’t cold AT ALL! Distinct lack of amenities, like oil, S&P, kitchen towel, kitchen cloth for wiping down. The dishwasher has parts missing so couldn’t stack items so easily. There was only one decent bathroom with shower - insufficient for 7/8 people. No window covering in one of the bedrooms. Beds & bathroom was clean but the house was generally ‘dusty’. Looks like hasn’t had a good clean in a long time - looks lovely in the pictures but reality was a little disappointing- the strict check out time of 10am was also disappointing but understandable if you have guests arriving on same day.
