This house was so well set out and appointed that we would have happily stayed for a week. I would love to build a house using this layout because it gave both privacy with the master bedroom separate from the other rooms and a fantastic open plan living area including the kitchen and butler's pantry. It's only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and directly across from the golf club. It's also an easy walk to the main street. I'll definitely be interested in staying again.
The only faults were the pillows were too firm and the oven racks were wrapped in alfoil to keep them clean However, this prevented the air from circulating so trying to bake in the oven was difficult.

Basalt Beach House is a beautifully appointed, well equipped and very nicely decorated 3 bedroom house, close to the coastline and a lovely 5 minute walk into the centre of Bargara.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit.
