Ateliér Zlatý Beránek

L'appartement était parfait pour notre séjour d'une semaine près de notre séminaire. Il est magnifique, très confortable et parfaitement équipé avec une cuisine et un lave-linge (sèche linge intégré). La douche a une excellente pression d'eau. Un gros plus pendant les fortes chaleurs (plus de 30 °C dehors) : l'intérieur reste naturellement très frais. Il est situé dans un magnifique quartier historique, dans une très jolie rue à seulement une dizaine de minutes à pied du château. Enfin, l'hôte a été particulièrement aimable et accueillant. Nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Comme le quartier est historique et très joli, il y a pas mal de passage de touristes dans la rue. Cependant, grâce au double fenêtres (c'est mieux que le double vitrage), le bruit est nettement atténué une fois les fenêtres fermées.

It would be nice to have shampoo and soap/shower gel. It’s easy to overlook getting your own.

Picturesque and quiet neighbourhood in a historic part of Prague. Peaceful atmosphere away from the main tourist crowds and still in walking distance to Prague Castle, Loreto, Strahov Monastery, Petřín Hill (with an observation tower as well as an observatory accessible to the public)... And hills you have to account for, as well as cobblestone streets (regarding access/luggage/disabilities). You'll be residing in the middst of colorful, historic houses dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. So expect not everything to be perfect in a modern sense (but close). Meaning some irregular angles within the apartment; an unexpectedly spacious shower without active ventilation though (only from an adjacent separate bathroom plus some passive air duct leading to the kitchen on the other side of the wall, which also transports sound). And, if one is bothered by it - expect some nosy and probably jealous peeks from passers-by and their echoing voices and steps - as one was warned by the host; the whole charming flat with its wooden double windows is facing a cobblestone street on ground level. There was some audible construction work going on in one of the neighbouring houses - but hey, how else are little gems like this getting to the nice state this one is in. All that said - the accommodation is splendid. Has everything one might usually need. Bed not too soft, not too hard, with two pillows each to choose from. Welcomed in person by a very friendly and warm host who was quick to respond to questions. They did not hesitate to make the stay even more relaxing, since they allowed for stashing the luggage for longer than booked on the day of departure. Depending on being booked by the next guests, of course. Some appliances have to be plugged in before use. For the wifi password have a look at the welcome mail you're getting from the hosts after booking.

Praga se convirtió en una experiencia aún más maravillosa al reservar nuestra estancia en el Ateliér. Totalmente recomendable y, además, muy agradecidos a los anfitriones.
