Watefront King Boat Dock & Pets OK Walk 2 Beach

Great location--walking distance to the beach, dog park, and a few cafes. We loved having the (shared) dock on the bay out back. There are 2 beach chairs and an umbrella we were happy to have.

No dishwasher--the hand-washed dishes were dirty from the last guest. Bringing in sand is a given but nothing available to clean it with so the floors get dirty quickly. Filthy shower curtain and dirty/dusty base boards. Soap dispensers were empty. The building is for sale and it feels like they are doing the very minimum to get by.

Location, location. The beach is a short 5 minute walk away The beaches at Indian Rock Beach are amazing The apartment itself was ok, had all the necessary things, well maintained and pet friendly. Parking onsite was a plus. You have access to a shared dock, which we enjoyed.

The biggest disappointment, is that the pictures and description are deceiving. When making the reservation it always shows pictures for the 2 waterfront units, but there are 2 other units that what you see through the window or outside is the parking spaces, the street, and a narrow walkway. I rented this unit, over an alternate rental, precisely because I saw the pictures with outside furniture looking at the dock, and the description of waterfront. I am sure management has heard of this before, and would be better, that they be upfront about what each unit has, when you are making the reservation.
