Just outside the Deer Creek Wilderness Area in the Pike National Forest, this secluded hideaway is surrounded by excellent hiking and biking trails - the area's hilly terrain is a mountain biker’s dream! You'll also find plenty of options to fish in nearby ponds and streams.

As we arrived at this amazing cabin, we noticed a Moose near the river! What a magical environment and introduction to our first overnight stay! The moose seemed peaceful and ready to relax with us. I still kept my distance. lol.
The cabin is very open, clean, and breathable…yet extremely cozy. Brought back so many childhood memories!!!
The large deck is great for sunrise coffee or eating lunch outside. The sound of the river can’t be beat!
The amenities and trails are fantastic! Everything you need for a long vacation away from the city.
If I could rate this 10 out of 10, I would do it without hesitation. The best vacation rental I’ve ever been to in Colorado.

I loved my stay here. I booked a cabin to have time away from the city and noise. This was so peaceful and serene. The night sky was amazing to see without all the lights of the city. The noise of the creek was so relaxing. I was sad to leave but am grateful for my time there. It was secluded and intimate. The heated mattress in the master bedroom was a nice touch. Although there is no AC, during my stay it was raining alot. The cabin got pretty cold. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

The cabin was easy to find. A bit of a challenge navigating the twisty driveway with a huge vehicle, but we took our time and enjoyed the scenery and sound of the river as we approached.
The only way in is via stairs. They are sturdy and safe, and large enough to carry your stuff in. (Just noting this for folks that may struggle with stairs.)
The inside of the cabin is charming. It's so clean, comfortable and well stocked. We didn't need anything! I was a little worried about it being warm in August, but it is so much cooler in the mountains than in town. Just open up the windows and let the air flow through. There is also a large deck with seating off of the living and dining area that overlooks the river. The weather was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the river.
The town of Bailey is a must visit. Everyone is so friendly, service is excellent, and food is delicious. Our choices were 2Dads and South Park Coney Island.
Cabin is about 45 minutes to Red Rocks, which is why we were there. It was an easy drive to and from.
If you have the chance, check out this cabin. It's truly a hidden gem and we highly recommend!

My teenagers loved the view and walking around the property. I loved that they provided everything I could think of. There is 1 store and 1 Dollar General 15 minutes away. Any restaurants are 30 minutes away. The cabin is in the mountains and is beautiful. We went in early summer, and the temperature ranged from 77 during the day to 65 at night in the cabin.
