Our stay was definitely an “experience” — just not the pleasant one we were expecting.
The staff response time deserves a special mention. You can call them once, twice, three times, and by the time they finally bring what you asked for, you start wondering whether they are personally travelling to another city to arrange it. With two ladies and a 3-year-old kid, getting basic things quickly is not exactly a luxury — it is a necessity. Unfortunately, the staff seemed to have a completely different definition of “quick service.”
And then comes the bathroom — probably the most senseless part of the entire stay.
There is a tiny tap in the shower area where you practically need to become a contortionist if you want to sit and bathe. If you want to use the shower, you have to continuously keep pressing the button to keep the shower running. The moment you release it, the shower stops. And don't forget, the tap below is still running at full speed throughout this entire exercise.
So basically, taking a shower here feels less like bathing and more like operating a poorly designed machine while trying not to flood the bathroom.
Breakfast was actually good, but the organization was another story. All tables were occupied, and since it was close to closing time, suddenly everyone wanted everything at the same time.
We waited around 10 minutes for puri, only to be told that the induction wasn't working and they would bring it from inside. At that point, I was genuinely wondering whether the puri was being prepared from scratch somewhere in another building.
With two ladies and a 3-year-old child, the slow service and bathroom setup made things unnecessarily difficult.
Thankfully, we stayed for only one day. Sometimes a short stay isn't because you don't have more time — it's because you have enough sense to know when one day is enough.
