    We wanted to be away from all the stress and we wanted quiet time. This place is perfect and really has everything in it. Though the part that was lacking was the internet connection. We were having difficulty connecting at times but overall the staff, facilities, amenities were all good. We will surely be coming back again. Thank you 🙏🏻

    We stayed at Tagaytay Haven about 10 years ago, and I was glad to see improvements in the overall design when we returned. Being a budget hotel, my expectations were modest, and for the room itself, you get what you pay for—which is fine and expected. However, our experience with the pool was disappointing. We informed reception that we would use the pool, but upon entering, all the lights were off. I had to go back to reception to ask them to turn them on. The pool looked like it hadn’t been used in some time: the water had particles floating in it, and the pool deck was dusty. Again, I could overlook this since it’s a budget hotel. The worst part of our stay came after checkout. A few days later, I realized my driver’s license was missing. I recalled that reception had asked for it during check-in. I tried calling the hotel several times, but no one answered. Because of my busy schedule, I forgot to follow up until about a month later. When I finally reached someone, they confirmed they still had my license. What’s disappointing is that they had all my details yet never bothered to contact me. If I hadn’t called, I would never have known they still had it. They could have returned it while we were still at the hotel, which I believe is a bare minimum standard procedure. Overall, while the design improvements are appreciated, the lack of basic customer service and care—especially regarding something as important as a government ID—was extremely disappointing.
