About this villa rental
A short walk brings you straight into the village, where the smell of freshly baked croissants welcomes you each morning. Your car can stay parked, as the supermarket, ATM, cosy cafés with terraces, restaurants, and the vibrant weekly market filled with local delicacies are all within easy walking distance.
🏅 Officially classified as a Meublé de Tourisme by Atout France. *The swimming pool opens on 21 April 2026.*
The villa is bright, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need, making it ideal for families or couples travelling together.
One guest who stayed at Villa Ikigai in August 2025 described it as follows:
*"The house has a beautiful garden. Everything was clean and lovely. I would say it’s one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in — and I travel a lot with Airbnb!"*
Inside, you’ll find a cosy living room with an open-plan kitchen. Thanks to the vaulted ceiling, the living area feels especially spacious and airy, creating a bright, relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind from the moment you arrive.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, Nespresso machine, filter coffee maker, and kettle.
In the living room, you’ll also find a fun selection of board games and playing cards for every type of group. Whether you fancy a relaxed game of Uno with the family, a tactical match of Stratego, or an intense late-night Monopoly battle, the choice is yours.
There’s something for every kind of player — from laid-back gamers to highly competitive strategists ;)
The bedrooms are fitted with brand-new extra-long box-spring beds (180 x 220 cm), mosquito screens, and whisper-quiet air conditioning (installed in 2025), ensuring a restful night’s sleep even during warm summer nights. The master bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite bathroom. With two bathrooms in total, the villa offers plenty of comfort and privacy, even for groups of up to six guests.
Outside, the spacious 800 m² garden — offering by far the most privacy on the domaine — invites you to relax on one of the terraces, soak up the sun, enjoy a good book in the shade, or dine al fresco. And whenever you feel like cooling off, the shared fenced swimming pool (16 x 6 m) is just a short walk away.
Just a 30-minute drive away lies the spectacular Gorges du Verdon, often called the Grand Canyon of France. Here, you can hike along dramatic cliffs, kayak or paddleboard on turquoise waters, and take in breathtaking views. It’s a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Within an hour, you can reach the first beaches of the Côte d’Azur in Sainte-Maxime and Fréjus. Staying in Aups gives you the best of both worlds: the vineyards and tranquillity of Provence, combined with the azure coastline and glamour of Saint-Tropez, Cannes, and Monaco.
