About this house rental
Nearby attractions include the Star Outdoors Activity Centre, Gleninchaquin Park, Molly Galvin’s Traditional Irish Homestead, and day trips around both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. Golfers are well placed too - the 18-hole Kenmare Golf Club is only 1km away, and the Ring of Kerry Golf Course is 7km from the house. Kenmare itself is an easy walk, with plenty of pubs and restaurants, good food and drink, and live music most evenings.
Accommodation
The house has three generous bedrooms - two doubles and one twin - each with its own en-suite bathroom. All rooms have timber floors with large rugs. The master bedroom includes a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite with both a shower and a bath.
Downstairs, the tiled entrance hall features wooden ceiling beams and leads to a bathroom with an electric shower. The dining room has a solid-fuel burner, while the lounge includes a leather sofa with two recliners, an open fire, a 28” television and a selection of artwork.
The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and a table. A utility room just off the kitchen offers a freezer, washing machine, dryer and extra storage.
Children at Birchview
Although there is a large grassy area outside, the presence of an unfenced stream means the property is not suitable for children under eight.
