Ponte Vecchio Residence - Comfort & Style in Florence Center

The location is fantastic! Everything is within walking distance. This apartment comfortably accommodates four people. However, be cautious of the stairs; there’s no elevator, and the apartment appears to be on the fourth floor. The host was very communicative and promptly guided us to our destination. We rated the cleanliness a 3 because it seemed quite superficial. Nevertheless, the beds were clean and comfortable. I would definitely return!

This rental was in a great location, close to all the fun activities in town but also removed enough to be quiet at night. It worked very well for my family of 4 with comfortable beds & plenty of space to spread out. We found it enjoyable to walk over the Ponte Vecchio every day to see the sights on the other side of the bridge. Great restaurants and bakeries were a short stroll away. Communication with the owner could be improved as we didn’t receive any check-in info until I requested it the morning of check in, which caused a bit of stress.

Good location and price

While the apartment is spacious for three guests and benefits from having two bathrooms, the unit is a bit dated and requires a more thorough cleaning (barhrooms, shower); several appliances (refrigerator, toaster oven) either had issues or were non-functional during our stay. The primary issue was communication. The host, Jacqueline, was unresponsive, often taking days to reply. Despite the listing's promises, no check-in details were provided. When I reached out to coordinate my arrival, the host attempted to charge an undisclosed "late check-in fee" and became belligerent when I provided screenshots showing the fee was not in the listing. I had issues with multiple undisclosed fees with this listing. Note on Location: While close to the Ponte Vecchio, it is a significant distance from the train station—something to consider if you are traveling with luggage or in inclement weather.
