About this cabin rental
The Holzmeisterhütte is located directly on the Teichalm and Sommeralm in Styria, 40 km north of Graz, and was newly built in 2010. The alpine hut is ideal for families, hiking groups, leisure travelers, and many others.
Right in front of the hut is a hiking trail junction, providing access to trails offering the most beautiful views of the Almenland Nature Park. As for winter, you can step right out the front door onto the 15 km of groomed cross-country trails on the Teichalm and Sommeralm. This high plateau offers excellent cross-country skiing conditions. It’s a 5-minute drive to Lake Teichalm or the Sommeralm.
Guests at the Holzmeisterhütte can enjoy the activities offered by our mini-pony farm in Tober/Passail (12 km or a 15-minute drive away). The Holzmeisterhütte is located on the alpine pasture, while the mini-pony farm is in the valley.
Alpine hut, 55 m²:
Two alpine huts are 70 m² each, and one is 55 m². Each hut has two stories and its own covered terrace. In front of the house, there is space for children to play and run around, as well as a small mountain stream with a pond. The cabins were built in an environmentally friendly manner using plenty of spruce wood from the Almenland region.
They are furnished with a mix of historic reclaimed wood furniture, larch floors, an open fireplace, as well as a washing machine and dryer. There is also Wi-Fi available at the alpine pasture. Unfortunately, for various reasons, our four-legged friends are not welcome.
Alpine cabin, 55 m², for up to 4 people:
First floor:
• Alpine living room with dining area, kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, and coffee maker
• Bathroom (shower, toilet, hair dryer)
• Pellet stove
• Flat-screen digital TV, room phone
• Outdoor terrace
Upper floor:
• Alpine-style room (1 double bed)
• Alpine-style room (2 single beds)
• Bed linens and towels provided
• Connecting door to Alpine Hut 3 (can be booked together)
On-site fees: Keys will be handed over either directly on-site at the summer alpine hut or at Tober 73, 8162 Passail. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in our alpine huts.
Check-in is available from 3:00 to 18:00, and check-out is from 08:00 to 10:00.
