BLOOM apart-hotel

I just loved the fact it is self contained. Every thing I need is there in the apartment. From washing machine to cookware. 7 eleven and an Indian restaurant just a few steps away completes a bachelor needs on a working trip

Apart from the room being a bit small, there’s really nothing to complain about.

It was more like mini home Family enjoyed the stay Quite convenient stay and no major noise from outside main road Washroom was clean, Aircon was good Beds pretty comfortable to sleep and clean Check-in and check-out very smooth Great online support staff Few bus stops away to the nearest Metro Station and NEX mall

Earlier staff informed there is no lift , If carrying heavy luggage, need to take help of support to assist in mini luggage only

- comfortable beds and comforters - nice double layer curtains that really block out all sunlight - vending machine on the 1st floor that makes up for the lack of convenience stores nearby - relatively prompt service response from staff when enquiring about things - shower heads with comfortable water pressure - toilet with bidet - large screen TV - 3 foldable chairs that helped with the limited space - lots of lightings in the rooms (bed light, table counter light etc that helps with various preferences and needs) - slippers provided were comfortable - though a bit of a walk (in terms of distance) from serangoon MRT station, quite alright since it's a straight walk down from the station's Exit D.

- no lift (people with large luggage will have a tough time, but given it's architecture and space, will be a little hard to install a lift) though... highest floor is only level 4 (where this two bedroom apartment is located). - pillar in the middle of the kitchen counter (less convenient to manoeuvre around) - pots and pans provided are a little charred (probably by previous users) - 2 sets of utensils, cups and towels when it is an apartment for 3 - slight chemical stench in the clothing cupboard (the new cupboard smell)

The location near the MRT NE line suited our needs for this trip. There were plenty of cafes/restaurants nearby and the massive NEX shopping centre is a few minutes walk away.

Lots not to like: 1. The room with 2 beds is basically unusable. A second bed has been jammed into a single bed room. This means the cupboards are nearly impossible to use, especially combined with the door closer that prevents the full opening of the only accessible cupboard door. You cannot fully open the bedroom door either. It hits the bed. 2. There are only 2 chairs in a three person apartment! 3. There is a TV, but no lounge chair to sit in to watch. 4. Check in. Received approval for early (1hr) check in, but we're unable to get in until normal time. Sent a message asking to be let in - no reply for 2 days! 5. Check out. We went out for breakfast and got locked out of the room 3 hours before check out time.
