Stylish Venice Escape Near the Marina & Beachfront

We stayed for four nights in July/August, family of four with two teens, we booked the three bedroom apartment so the teens could have own space. Great location, parking space, value for money, outdoor spaces. The place had everything we needed, and great communication from the property management

Only negatives were that there was a small issue with ants, given the heat etc I cannot fault the property management and it was easily sorted. I would have liked somewhere to dry the clothes outside on the balcony.

Staying here put us right between the beach and Marina del Rey’s waterfront — perfect for variety. We rented bikes and cruised the beach path before snagging margaritas at Chulita one evening. The local vibe was lively yet relaxed, especially at the famous Hinano Cafe with its burgers and music. Sunset views from the Venice Pier were unforgettable. Highly recommend for a fun Southern California escape.

Lovely apartment, spacious with enough room for a family of 5. Neighbourhood seemed nice but we didn’t explore too much as not much we wanted to do there. But close to a food shop. Kitchen and bathrooms clean, but the floor needs a proper clean as by the first morning it had turned our feet and socks black!

we were sold this under false pretences. The picture and description shows that there was a big pool suitable for children, please see attached photos. This has not been the case. I searched for ages to find a property with a pool, and chose this place for the pool it described and showed in pictures. After searching the building we found on the rooftop there is a spa pool on the roof while lovely for adults to relax, this was not mentioned in the description, is basically a big hot tub not a swimming pool and said not suitable for under 14 years old. Whereas on the description I got after booking it says pool with shallow end and suitable for all ages. whilst it seems like a champagne problem, we booked mainly for the pool so after a hot day exploring LA my children could have somewhere to cool off. I’ve messaged multiple times on booking.com and I have been messed about, whoever is responding is pretending there is maintenance clearly none in the building, or just downright feigning ignorance and then ignoring my questions about the pool and saying the spa pool is a major attraction. The picture of the pool they’ve put up on here i can see is not even the same building.
