The Quirky Townhouse, Hawick

Great location, right in the heart of Hawick. Bedrooms upstairs spacious and well appointed. Comfortable beds and good attention to detail (e.g., mattress/pillow protectors). Clean throughout.

The downstairs room had a single living room/kitchen and was on the small size. Was fine for our group as we had 4 children, and they enjoyed chilling out in the bedrooms, but for adults, this might be more problematic. Table could just fit 6 people, but would have been a tight squeeze (also third bedroom is a double but has very little space around it). Cutlery/crockery was of good quality but there wasn't enough (only 3 forks!). Also, would have been helpful to access brush/vacuum cleaner to clean up.
