Alojamiento Centrico en Chetumal

I was looking for a place close to the airport for an early flight. This fitted the bill as it's only a 20 min walk. The place was clean, great tv, and a hot shower. The cleaner helped with the code which was different from that initially given for access. Access system code system ok once you get the hang of it.

Communication was good when it happened but it took a while. The bed is not the best, ok for a nights stay.

The property is clean and nicely decorated and in a good safe location. The good thing is the host met me at the location and held on to my luggage while the unit was being cleaned. I was also able to extend for an extra day with no problem.

I really want to make this a not so bad review…this property has potential however, I think a lot more attention needs to be given to the availability of comfort items. I had read many reviews before choosing to stay here and was hoping that the issues that were addressed were addressed however, what I did find was there were a lot of things missing from the stay to make it necessary to be enjoyed. First, there were no utensils to eat with. I had to pull the microwave and the refrigerator out because the microwave was not working so it turned out that the plug was barely pushed into the wall in the back, which was an easy fix. my other concern and the biggest concern was the lack of hot water and the flow of water. It took forever for me to fill a small pot to heat for hot water so that I could bathe. The shower water trickled out as did the two sinks (bathroom and kitchen). Also there is no kitchen towel to be able to remove hot items from the stove. I was also disappointed to see that there was no drinking water available for use but again a quick fix ,quick run to the store, to grab a gallon jug of water. Aside from that, the temperature of the room was cold every night, and there was nothing available to warm me up. There was no blanket. I only had the cover of the sheet, which was very thin and I slept in a cradle position every night like a baby. To top it off, which is outside of the control of the management, but the people across the street engaged in construction every night after 11 PM and into the night sometimes after 2 in the morning banging scraping and sawing…I don’t know what they were doing, but it was loud and annoying.. other than that the property is great. Oh and the walls are very thin…heard everything and i do mean everything.
