In a world of airbnb, where contactless and impersonal hosting is the norm these days, Cyril and Nora’s hospitality was so thoughtful and refreshing! They went above and beyond what my wife and I are used to while traveling. Cyril was easily contactable via text message if we needed anything, and he gave us many suggestions for places to visit and things to do in the local area. Nora is a wonderful chef and we got to experience some excellent local French delicacies. Their beautiful girls led us on a fun adventure game in the forest for our children to enjoy! We loved how they have renovated and decorated their 19th century house to maintain its original character, while making it comfortable for modern life. Our suite was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable for our family of four. Our hosts had even provided books and toys for our two young children! Breakfast was prepared and displayed so elegantly! We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade and local treats on offer. As an optional extra, we had the privilege of sharing a delicious four-course, home-cooked meal with our hosts and the other guests! We highly recommend! The little town of Bourdeilles is picturesque, with its river, castle and other charming stone buildings, and is a short, quiet and enjoyable walk from the B&B. Note that there is no grocery/convenience store in the town, but it’s only a 10 minute drive to the closest one. (We had a rental car, so we can’t speak on public transport). Overall, Cyril and Nora are superb hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and cared for. Their house and property is charming and just what we were looking for. We would absolutely stay here again!

L’alloggio si trova all’interno di un palazzo storico del 1800, e’ arredato con buon gusto e gestito con amore dai padroni di casa. La colazione é preparata con prodotti freschi e diversi ogni mattina e allestita splendidamente nel tavolo della sala da pranzo.

Cyril et Nora nous ont merveilleusement accueillis. Nous reviendrons bientôt avec grand plaisir.
