Bright Diamond Inn

Location was the best, very close to my work place

hospitality very good, the guys where so friendly and even give us more hours after we had our run to refresh

From arriving at Bright Diamond Inn, AJ was an absolute star! As we arrived in Kimberley at 08h00, I made special arrangements with him to arrive slightly earlier as I was traveling with our 8-year old and he was extremely accommodating (Please keep in mind that this may not always be the case as the room may as well have been occupied the evening before). He was extremely friendly, helpful and we immediately felt at home. The room was incredibly spacious with all the "trimmings" that we needed: proper mini-fridge (not the small minibar that one is accustomed to), wifi, extremely comfortable beds and a full bathroom. They offered additional little touches such as a mini sowing kit, toothbrushes and toothpaste (some of our luggage stayed behind so this came in extremely handy!). The old farmhouse is beautiful - wooden floors, high ceilings etc. There is also safe and secure parking behind an electric gate so our rental was safe. We did not once feel unsafe or unwelcome and we were based very close to great shopping centers, restaurants and the local schools (as we were there for a tournament). AJ even went as far to deliver homemade and delicious ham and cheese sandwiches to our door (without us even asking) as it was pouring outside and he was concerned that we would not be able to go out for lunch. These additional extras and special gestures will ensure that we will most definitely be returning to the Bright Diamond Inn when we do have the opportunity to travel to Kimberley again. We only booked for one day to have breakfast. It was truly incredibly delicious. The dining area was very neat and clean. Lovely music played softly in the background. Hosts really went out of their way to make it special and enjoyable. I havent seen such friendly and helpful hosts in a long time. Very pleasant. They even packed us a food parcel for the long journey back home.
