The house was very well placed to the Amble facilities. Parking outside was not a problem and Lara the host was very responsive. The lounge fire was broken on arrival, and Lara replaced it the following day, full marks.
The bathroom, the shower over the bath is awkward to access as the toilet impedes entry and exit, the kitchen is very tight between fridges and sink. The cooking utensils are minimal and really need replacing, saucepan handles loose and large frying pans coating is useless. These didn't detract from our stay as we ate out but have been listed as they need to be addressed by the hosts.

Lightning and darker curtains. Instructions for heating and fire. 2nd bathroom/toilet needed especially if more than 2 people there.

The property was clean and tidy on arrival and the location was very good.
Lack of pots and pans, the few saucepans that were provided all had wobbly handles - could potentially be dangerous,
