I was so pleased with my choice of accommodation. The room was absolutely beautiful — spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and just as lovely as it looked in the pictures. I was genuinely so happy when I arrived and knew I’d picked a good place to stay. The location was fantastic too. The room is situated just off a main road with plenty of cafés and a pub right next door, so there are lots of options nearby for food and drinks. Wetherspoons is literally around the corner, about a four-minute walk away, and is a great option for breakfast, although there are plenty of other places in the area to choose from too. The beach was only around 10 minutes away on foot, and it was approximately a 28-minute walk to the main shopping area and the Spinnaker Tower. As a female solo traveller, I also felt very safe staying here, which was really important to me and made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a lovely stay and couldn’t have been happier with the room, cleanliness and location. I would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it, especially to other solo travellers.

Spacious room with very comfortable bed and modern ensuite. Great shared kitchen facilities. Very clean. Close to Southsea, shops, restaurants and waterfront.

I liked everything. It was great.

The location was good and not too far from the city centre. I liked the bed and the pillows were comfy. The shower was great and the desk was a welcome addition also. The kitchen facilities I didn't really use but seemed to be very helpful if I wanted to cook.

The sink, ideally, could be bigger and I wish they gave more toilet roll besides the three very small rolls (clearly used previously) that I was given. Soap for the sink should have also been provided I feel, especially as they spent time to lie out a mug with a packet of coffee and longlife milk on the side. WiFi was a little slow in places. The towels could be bigger also as they were not bath sheets. I liked the addition of a fan but that could perhaps be a little bigger, especially as it was quite warm. One of the desk drawers contained packaged screws as well as instructions for assembling the desk; I feel that this could have been removed before people stay here. The desk, although spacious, had a few marks and dents in the wood. It was hard to work the TV and get TV guide/live channels so I gave up.
