Étoile Kata Luxury Pool Villas by Astra

We loved this villa. We stayed here with 4 adults and 4 children and the pool was perfect. The open living space was brilliant. The pool is a perfect size and the villa itself was very clean and amazingly designed. We liked this location a lot as it was slightly out of the busy tourist Kata area but a short walk or tuk tuk ride to the main beach area and markets/restaurants. There is also a brilliant coffee place (Cup Sea) a few minutes walk away. The staff were amazing. They were just outside the villa most of the time and were happy to help in anyway. Very friendly and kind. We really loved our stay here and were sad to leave

There is construction going on behind the villa which was a little noisy for the first half an hour we were staying but after that we didn’t hear the noise at all which was really good. I wouldn’t let this put you off booking this villa because in Phuket there is building work everywhere so this isn’t unique to this villa and it really was a brilliant place to stay. It’s been our favourite villa we’ve stayed in so far

Ката — мой любимый пляж на Пхукете. Здесь очень чистая вода и красивая бухта, а атмосфера гораздо более спокойная, чем на больших и шумных пляжах. Я живу в жилом комплексе Amber, поэтому добираться до пляжа очень удобно. Особенно хочу порекомендовать Amber — отзывы отличные, впечатления от проживания очень хорошие, это идеальный выбор для отдыха. Правда, в последнее время туристов и лежаков стало больше, что немного портит вид, но место всё равно остаётся классным. На пляже всегда можно освежиться вкусными фруктовыми шейками или мороженым.

An absolutely amazing experience! The housekeeper Tar and her team were truly warm and provided us with a huge amount of help! The house is great too, a brand new villa complex where everything is new. It takes just over ten minutes to walk slowly to the beach, which is a very acceptable distance. In short, thank you very, very much for your hospitality!

No, everything was perfect

It is newly built and the layout and interior is fresch and new.

The dishwasher did not work. Neither the washingmashine. The master bathroom smelled sewer/poop as there were some kind of problem with the floor drains and toilet. There were always personell in the house - the cleaning took 3-5 hours a day and then the manager came very often to look how we were doing… the location is REALLY BAD as it is on the largest road in Phuket and there is construction going on around the house all the time. When you are outside you can not hear eachother so it is not possible to have conversations outside, the road is so noisy. It is extremely difficult to cross this road and very dangerous to get anywhere by walking, you will need to get a taxi to get out of the house. There are no western cutlery - if you want to eat in and use a knife you can not. There were no pool towels for us to use the first days. The beds are OK but the pillows were very high and hard. The first days we could not use the TV as there were no electric cable for it…
