Firewood was a bit damp and no heaters other than the main bedroom, but it was all part of the adventure

Love the gardens and the features of the house! The sauna was great once we figured out how to get it working and the hot tub was amazing
It was very cold inside! Like colder inside than outside, even with the fires on! I think some electric blankets would be a benefit as even with 3 blankets on we were still cold! And an electric kettle would be amazing as the stove top one takes 15min to heat up!

Spacoiusness, serenity, wildlife, grounds, spa, sauna. Well equipped.
Pet friendly but be prepared for that.

nice and well equipped for larg groups
could use more that one tea towel and some measuring spoons cups for making sauces. kitchen was exceptionally appointed…. lots of cutlery, glassware and just about everything you would want. just those few items would be a bonus
