I traveled solo and stayed here for a week, occasionally having friends visit. The apartment complex is quiet, safe, and has a comforting vibe. I had no issues coming or going, and the neighbors were friendly and respectful. The apartment itself was clean and equipped enough for my week-long stay. Even when I stayed out late, I felt safe knowing Barak, the on-site security personnel, was always present. The location is convenient—close to Eco-mart supermarket, a pharmacy, ATMs and mobile money services, local food spots and street food, and within walking distance to the main road for public transport. Rideshare drivers (Uber, Safeboda/car) were able to reach the apartment gate, I only needed to provide extra directions occasionally depending on the driver. Angello, the host, was responsive, humorous, and attentive, making sure I had a comfortable stay. I recommend this apartment, especially for solo travelers or anyone looking for a safe, well-located, and welcoming place to stay.

I had a few concerns during my week stay in January. My phone signal inside the apartment was inconsistent, and calls would sometimes break up depending on where I was standing. I’m not sure if that was due to the specific apartment’s location at the end of the block or just my phone. The WiFi was also unstable throughout the week. Angello was informed and stayed on top of it, reaching out to the provider, but was told there were network issues in the area that week and that service would improve. Since my stay was only one week, I couldn’t really confirm the resolution. There was noise from the bedroom side due to construction of a new apartment building next door, especially early morning. Occasionally, I needed to give drivers extra directions to find the apartment, as there’s a similar BAB apartment complex in Kyanja that can cause confusion. The more details provided, the easier it is for drivers to locate the property. Additionally, the road leading to the apartment complex could use more street lighting at night. That said, I feel like some of these issues were outside of the host’s control. Angello remained responsive and genuinely tried his best to make sure I was comfortable. He also gave me clear directions to help drivers locate the apartment. Barak was also readily available to assist with TV and wifi connection, and smooth check-in and check-out.

I loved the calmness of the place, free from noise and the care taker was very friendly
