Charming 1 Bedroom Period Cottage in Sevenoaks

I loved how cosy the cottage was. It was the perfect space for 2 people. The kitchen was well sized and had all the amenities we needed for the few nights we stayed, and the dishwasher was super helpful. The management agency were good with ensuring everything was going okay, and answering any questions we had. The cottage is in a great location for lots of local Kent activities, as well as a journey into London which only took us 30 minutes. We felt safe at all times and enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend.

Although we loved the space, there were a couple of things I want to note. The space was clean, but I did think it could have been cleaner. I noticed hairs still on the floor, and lots of dust and cobwebs. The cottage is also next to a main road and dual carriageway, so whenever we had the windows open (as the cottage got quite hot), it meant it got very loud, especially when trying to watch TV. We also had no hot water on check out day meaning I couldnt have a shower as I wanted to.

Good location for getting out of town (near bypass and M25) although the road itself is busy and noisy - but we found getting out into the traffic easy enough. Centre of town not too far away and a good pub (the Kings Head) a short walk away. We were able to turn our car within the section. The courtyard out the back was very tidy and the work being done on the garden is excellent. We enjoyed talking to the gardeners as they were working on it. We were able to sit out there in the evening. Generally well-appointed and comfortable. Were able to get the BBC and watch the World Cup final! Appreciated having a washing machine and dishwasher.

We would have really like to have had a coffee plunger. The bed is difficult to access on one side because it is under the attic ceiling. It has a heat pump but with the weather so hot, being able to turn it on to airconditioning would have been great if we could have found the remote control. We asked the property management but they didn't get back to us after their initial repsonse. We stayed for 8 days, but got only two towels. We needed a mirror somewhere adjacent to a power socket (for blow drying). We couldn't work out to make the bed lamp work, there was no rinse aid for the dishwasher, and no salt & pepper.

Very high quality for the price Anything I could have needed for a stay was there Decently good and safe feeling location Felt spacious Bed was comfortable and a spacious bedroom upstairs to store clothes and suitcases/bags Couldn't hear the road too bad unless I had the windows open. Equipment to clean the house day by day was available. Very nice to relax. Lots of pubs nearby and shops are only a 5 minute drive / 30 minute walk away.

Getting in and out of the driveway can pose a little bit of a challenge - i advise that you reverse in as it'll make getting out a whole lot easier. Quite a lot of spiders throughout the property. It can get quite warm inside - there is an air conditioner in the corner, but it has no remote, so you have to lift up the front panel to turn it on.

Gute Lage, nettes Haus und Küche ganz gut ausgestattet. Sehr Sauber übergeben. Kontakt mit dem Anbieter unkompliziert. Betten OK.

Parkplatz für Motorräder nicht geeignet, da man das Motorrad nicht hinter dem Tor abstellen kann. Möbel zum Teil überaltert oder was soll das Regal hinter der Sitzgruppe?
