Where My Vacations Are at Home. When the legendary “Schihütte” inn becomes a guest-friendly vacation home, everything that has already brought so much joy to many friends remains just the same.
For one thing, it’s the prime location, right at the foot of the towering Kanisfluh, just a few steps from the beautiful Mellau-Damüls hiking and skiing area—a quick 200 meters to the valley station.
On the other hand, it’s all about the house itself:
Authentic Bregenzerwald architecture, a cozy atmosphere—simply a true vacation home for families and groups of up to 14 people.

We’ve prepared everything for you: Swiss stone pine beds in the bedrooms with TVs to ensure a good night’s sleep (bed linens and towels are provided), modern bathrooms to help you wake up, a coffee maker in the large kitchen-living room with a TV to keep you going (fully equipped with dishes and a dishwasher, of course), a dining table that seats 15 (including a high chair) for cozy get-togethers, the sauna to help you recharge, the ski cellar with heated boot racks to keep everything dry, the spacious terrace for relaxing in the summer, and Wi-Fi for staying connected.
