This quintessential 3 BR, 2.5 bath floating home has all of the comforts of a luxury home on land except that it floats in picturesque Sausalito on San Francisco Bay. Experience water living on the “garden dock" in one of the community’s most attractive houseboats. The open floor plan, gormet kitchen and large covered deck with fire pit provide plenty of room to stretch out or entertain. The living room doubles as a dining room via a one of a kind coffee table that easily converts to a large dining room table. The large primary bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower, while the other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a large bathtub/shower. Access the water via the gangway to the lower floating dock, where you will find two sea kayaks (single and double), a pedal boat and paddle board. Or just sit on the deck chairs and enjoy the view while the seals, pelicans, geese and other wildlife put on a show. Soak up the vibe of the community. Founded in the 60s, each floating home is as unique as the times when they were built. Like this rental, most have been updated. As the community evolved from its bohemian history, it became a 300+ floating home melting pot with artists, entrepreneurs, families, executives, retirees all with a common bond: the love of living on the water.
