Please review the listing photos carefully. Features of this traditional chalet have been updated with a modern look, but it retains rustic mountain charm. It's semi-secluded location at the end of a cul-de-sac is perfect for families and groups that want quiet, ample space to play outside, and convenience to local amenities. Sleeps up to 10 comfortably.
FEATURES & AMENITIES:
The Chalet's open great room includes a dining area and living room with a gas log fireplace. The patio door opens to a deck in the trees - convenient for fixing dinner on the gas grill and dining at the picnic table. The kitchen, located adjacent to the great room & dining area, includes updated appliances, basic cookware, tableware, a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind), and a Keurig machine (please bring your favorite K-cups). The dining area seats six at the table and another four at the kitchen bar. The main floor also includes two bedrooms, both with queen beds, and hallway full bathroom. The second bedroom has a desk, lamp, and chair -- just in case work interrupts your getaway.
Head upstairs to a spacious loft with four twin beds that overlooks the great room's huge windows, with sliding glass door access to it's own balcony.
Head down stairs to a large living area with comfy furnishings, more large windows for gazing into the woods, a 50" smart TV, and a game table. For those engrossed in a big game or movie, the mini-fridge and microwave oven mean you won't miss a thing when grabbing a frosty beverage or heating up some snacks. The short hallway off the living area leads to another bedroom with queen bed, a utility room stocked with games and full-size washer & dryer, and another full bathroom.
The chalet is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.
The Smart TV allows guests to log into popular streaming apps, and fast 75 down/50 up mbps WiFi internet is sufficient for everyone to work, stream, and game.

This is a Self-Check-In unit. You'll receive check-in instructions via email seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property's address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, and other important information.
This property has a propane gas grill the main level deck and a Solo Stove Bonfire fire pit area near the cul-de-sac. It does NOT have an outdoor hot tub.
Firewood is available for guests to purchase at the Kiosk in our parking lot (2565 Orkney Grade), the Community Store, and several other local roadside firewood stands.
This property has a detached garage, which is owner-private and not available for guest use.
Bryce Resort's pool (Bryce Landing) is private for Bryce Resort members only. However, guests have unlimited access to the Bryce Mountain Escapes pool at our office (2565 Orkney Grade). See pictures of our pool in the unit listing. It's open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.

Bryce Resort offers many activities and features throughout the year, including snow skiing/boarding, snow tubing, golf, Lake Laura swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and kayaking, and a thrill-filled lift-accessed mountain bike park. Bryce Resort is also the perfect launch point for many other adventures in the northern Shenandoah Valley, including hiking, fishing, hot air ballooning, visiting wineries & breweries, exploring caverns, antiquing, enjoying the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival on summer Saturdays in nearby Orkney Springs, and so much more.
