About this house rental
About Our Property
We live in our home 90% of the year — it’s our family home, and we only make it available when we’re caravanning or vacationing elsewhere.
Please keep in mind this is a lived-in property, meaning most of our belongings remain in the home. The benefit for you is full access to all our day-to-day items, pantry staples, and plenty of children’s toys and activities to make your stay easy and enjoyable.
We wanted to give other families (and groups) the opportunity to experience the Gold Coast in affordable, family-friendly accommodation that feels like home — stocked with everything you might need when travelling with kids.
Our property is dual occupancy, with my parents living in a separate, fully self-contained granny flat that is locked off from the main house. Sometimes they’ll be home; other times they’ll be away with us. Both spaces are private, with their own kitchens, lounges, bathrooms, and entrances.
Because our home is lived in by two adults and four children, it doesn’t have the “showroom” finish of high-end stays — this is reflected in our pricing. You may notice a few handprints on the walls or stickers in the kids’ rooms, but the house is clean, comfortable, and full of warmth and character that families love.
If you’re not travelling with kids, that’s fine too! Larger groups or friends are welcome — just note that the bedrooms have child-inspired décor.

The entire property includes six bedrooms, two kitchens, three bathrooms, two laundries, three lounge rooms, a pool, and an infrared sauna.
As our guest, you’ll have access to:
• Your own kitchen
• Five bedrooms
• Two bathrooms
• Laundry facilities
• Two lounge rooms
• Pool and outdoor entertaining area (shared space but mostly yours)
Sleeping arrangements:
• Master Bedroom – King bed with ensuite
• Bedroom 1 (styled for a 7-year-old girl) – Double bed
• Bedroom 2 (styled for a 10-year-old girl) – Double bed
• Bedroom 3 (styled for a 10-year-old boy) – Double bed
• Bedroom 4 (styled for a 3-year-old boy) – Single bed
Living spaces:
• Lounge Room 1 – Electric fireplace and large Smart TV
• Lounge Room 2 / Wellness Room – Infrared sauna, Smart TV, and lounge sofa (converts to bed)
Bathrooms & Laundry:
• Main bathroom with bath and shower
• Ensuite in master bedroom
• Washing machine and dryer available
Outdoor area:
• Swimming pool
• Deck and grass area with outdoor seating
• Trampoline and pool toys for the kids
Accessibility:
• The house is single-level with no stairs — easy for those with mobility concerns.

Sorry, no cats — our black Labrador, Lucy, isn’t used to them. Lucy lives on the property full-time and will be cared for by my parents while you stay. She’s gentle, child-friendly, and well-trained with other dogs.

We’re not a “no-party” house — we love a good celebration — but we do ask that you respect our neighbours.
Enjoy long lunches, cocktails, and picnics on the lawn, but if you’d like to party, grab a $20 Uber to Burleigh, Coolangatta, or head up to Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise.
(Fun fact: our neighbour hires out party furniture if you’re hosting a lawn gathering!)
